The South Side Drive magazine is published by Real Men Charities, Inc. The organization’s mission is Building Healthy Families and Communities. This magazine is designed to be a catalyst for economic development, reflecting a truthful image and examples that demonstrate the art of living.  We seek to share the Good News about Chicago’s south side and Black culture and serve as the Guide to the Good Life in our city. We are peacekeepers and keepers of the culture.  Art Heals, Legacy Matters, Cultural Soul and Real Men Love are a few of our programs that has received funding from the Field Foundation which has assisted in the launch of the South Side Drive Magazine TM: Guide to the Good Life Chicago.

The South Side Drive Magazine is the property of the nonprofit, Real Men Charities, Inc.  In Chicago our organization is best know for the Real Men Cook(r) Father’s Day Celebration (https://realmencharitiesinc.org/real-men-cook-chicago/) events that has now become a national tradition.  Our nonprofit was founded in 2003. The President of Real Men Charities Inc is Rael Jackson and the Program Manager and Associate Publisher is Dr. Obari Cartman. PhD.  The Board of Director’s of Real Men Charities Inc. considers the publication and website as vehicles to accelerate our work.

Real Men Charities Inc., is also the producer of the national symposium series, Marketing Opportunities in Business & Entertainment (MOBE), founded in 1994 and re-launched in 2017.  MOBE is now a leading Black-owned conference series on the topic with a business-building track record of success.  Fortune 50 companies, Prudential and P&G, as well as AARP, Urban One, and Upscale has played leadership sponsor roles since the highly successful relaunch in 2017. www.MOBESymposium.com
